Job Description: Brewco Marketing Group is filling a new position for a Cabinet Maker/Trim Carpenter in our growing design/build business in Central City, KY. We are searching for proactive, motivated, skilled team-players to join our successful and growing team. This position will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and finishing custom cabinets according to design specifications. This role requires a skilled craftsman with experience in cabinetry, an eye for detail, the ability to meet timelines, and a willingness to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience, precision, and an artistic touch to each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design plans to create custom cabinets and wood products
  • Measure, mill, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood products using hand tools, power tools, and professional woodworking machinery
  • Ability to install cabinetry and other wood products, ensuring precise fit and finish
  • Conduct finishing work to achieve desired aesthetics and durability
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure projects meet client specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in safe working conditions
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to company standards
  • All other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cabinet making or other professional woodworking roles, with a portfolio of completed projects
  • Proficiency with woodworking tools, including saws, routers, planers, sanders, and finishing tools
  • Strong knowledge of wood species, woodworking techniques, and cabinetry construction and assembly methods
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble parts to exact specifications
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship
  • Physical ability to handle heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and lift objects of at least fifty (50) pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with custom cabinetry, millwork, or furniture making
  • Familiarity with CAD or design software for reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Knowledge of manufacturing best practices, including lean production methods

  • Must be able to use, or willing to learn how to use, all tools in the carpentry fields and the fabrication field.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Woodworking: 5 years (Preferred)
