About the role
<\/div>
<\/div>
Sydney Smart Joinery is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to manufacture and\ninstall bespoke cabinetry and joinery to a high standard. You\u2019ll work from\ndetailed drawings, produce components in the workshop, and complete quality\ninstallations on site across residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Read and interpret plans, drawings, and cutting lists
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Measure, cut, edge, and assemble cabinet carcasses, doors, panels, and\nbenchtops
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Operate workshop machinery (panel saw, edge bander, CNC/router, drills,\nsanders) and hand tools safely
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Fit hardware (hinges, runners, handles), achieve accurate alignments and\nclean finishes
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Finish surfaces (laminate, veneer, solid timber prep, sanding) to\nspecification
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Conduct on\-site installations to deadline, with a high\-end finish and minimal\nrework
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Maintain equipment, manage materials, and uphold WHS and quality standards
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Collaborate with designers, site supervisors, and fellow trades to meet\nproject timelines
<\/div>
<\/div>

Skills

\u2022 Strong eye for detail, square/level setups, and fine finishing
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Confident with measurements, tolerances, and problem solving on the tools and\non site
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Proficient with cabinetmaking hardware and modern assembly methods
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Competent with workshop machinery and safe work practices
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Basic computer literacy; experience with Cabinet Vision or similar is an\nadvantage
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or within a small team
<\/div>
<\/div>

Qualifications & experience
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Certificate III in Cabinet Making (or equivalent), or substantial relevant\nexperience in lieu
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Demonstrated experience in cabinetmaking/joinery manufacturing and\ninstallation
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Ability to read technical drawings and produce work to specification
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Current driver\u2019s licence; White Card preferred
<\/div>
