CAD Engineer

Key Responsibilities
<\/p>

  • Prepare and modify detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical designs using AutoCAD.
    <\/li>
  • Develop fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings for plant machinery and equipment.
    <\/li>
  • Create 2D and basic 3D models as required for engineering projects.
    <\/li>
  • Review engineering specifications and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate with maintenance, production, and project teams to understand design requirements.
    <\/li>
  • Prepare equipment layouts, piping layouts, structural drawings, and utility drawings.
    <\/li>
  • Conduct site measurements and update drawings to reflect actual plant conditions.
    <\/li>
  • Maintain drawing records, revisions, and document control systems.
    <\/li>
  • Support plant expansion, modification, and improvement projects through engineering design assistance.
    <\/li>
  • Ensure all drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and safety requirements.
    <\/li>
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues by providing technical drawing support.
    <\/li>
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reliability.

    Desired Qualifications
    <\/p>

    • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
      <\/li>
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering drawing interpretation.
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and industrial equipment.
      <\/li>
    • Familiarity with plant layouts, piping systems, and maintenance practices.
      <\/li>
    • Understanding of engineering standards, tolerances, and drafting principles.
      <\/li>
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
