HDR Michigan, Inc. is seeking a CADD Technician to join our growing, nationally ranked Power Delivery team. Building on your established expertise in drafting and design, you will step into a role responsible for creating and/or modifying electric substation drawings, distribution drawings, and transmission line drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional
  • Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year or more experience working for an A/E firm or Utility company performing tasks aligned with the responsibilities above.
