Calibration Engineer Onsite

R&D Instrument\n Services is seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Calibration\n Engineer to join our field service team. This position involves\n performing calibration, verification, and adjustment of\n instruments across various measurement domains. You will work both on\-site and in the laboratory to ensure compliance with ISO\n 17025 and internal quality standards.<\/span>

Key Roles and\n Responsibilities:<\/span> <\/span> <\/b> <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

• Perform\n calibration, verification, and adjustment of instruments\n across multiple domains (electrical, mechanical,\n thermal, pressure, dimensional, etc.).<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Travel to client\n sites (up to 80 km/day) to perform on\-site calibrations,\n inspections, and troubleshooting.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Maintain\n detailed calibration records, results, and instrument\n conditions in compliance with ISO 17025 and internal\n standards.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Ensure proper\n care and handling of calibration tools, test equipment,\n and devices during field and lab operations.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Log instrument\n histories and ensure data traceability.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Provide\n technical guidance to clients regarding calibration\n procedures and equipment usage.<\/span>

• Stay updated\n with new calibration techniques and emerging\n technologies.<\/span>

• Participate in\n internal training programs and skill development\n initiatives.<\/span>

• Identify and\n suggest process improvements to enhance calibration\n efficiency and accuracy.<\/span>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Electronics & Communication,\n Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering B.Sc.\n in Physics<\/b> <\/span> <\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Strong\n understanding of calibration practices and measurement\n principles.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Technical\n competency in handling electronic, mechanical, thermal,\n or optical instruments.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Willingness to\n travel regularly for fieldwork (up to 80 km\n daily).<\/span>

  • Good written and\n verbal communication skills.<\/span>

  • Self\-motivated\n and capable of managing time and tasks\n independently.<\/span>

  • Basic computer\n literacy and ability to document work accurately.<\/span>

  • Familiarity with\n ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards.<\/span>

  • Previous\n experience in calibration, maintenance, or servicing of\n instruments.<\/span>

  • Customer service\n orientation with the ability to explain technical\n procedures clearly.<\/span>

  • Basic knowledge\n of traceability, uncertainty calculation, and standard\n measurement practices.

  • Freshers and\n experienced candidates are welcome. Prior experience in\n calibration or instrumentation will be an\n advantage.<\/span>
