Job Summary:<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>We are seeking an experienced Calypso Business Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets and the Calypso platform. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering requirements, analysing business processes, supporting production issues, and driving enhancements across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>- Collaborate with business users, traders, operations teams, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.<\/span>
<\/li>- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution designs.<\/span>
<\/li>- Conduct impact analysis for new business initiatives, regulatory changes, and system enhancements.<\/span>
<\/li>- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement review sessions.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Calypso Functional Expertise<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Calypso platform across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office operations.<\/span>
<\/li>- Analyze and support trade lifecycle processes including trade capture, confirmations, settlements, collateral management, accounting, and reporting.<\/span>
<\/li>- Work closely with users to resolve functional issues and clarify business requirements.<\/span>
<\/li>- Configure and support Calypso modules based on business needs.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Production Support & Issue Resolution<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>- Provide functional support for production incidents and business\-critical issues.<\/span>
<\/li>- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and recommend process improvements.<\/span>
<\/li>- Coordinate with development and support teams to prioritize and resolve defects.<\/span>
<\/li>- Validate fixes and enhancements through testing and business sign\-off.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Testing & Delivery<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>- Prepare and execute Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).<\/span>
<\/li>- Develop test scenarios, test cases, and validation plans based on business requirements.<\/span>
<\/li>- Ensure successful implementation of enhancements and releases through effective stakeholder coordination.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Stakeholder Management<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>- Work closely with traders, operations teams, risk management teams, finance teams, and external vendors.<\/span>
<\/li>- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and solutions to stakeholders at multiple levels.<\/span>
<\/li>- Support change management and user training activities.
<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Mandatory Skills<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>- 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on the Calypso platform.<\/span>
<\/li>- Strong understanding of Capital Markets and investment banking operations.<\/span>
<\/li>- Hands\-on experience with Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office workflows.<\/span>
<\/li>- Expertise in trade lifecycle management, settlements, confirmations, accounting, and market operations.<\/span>
<\/li>- Experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation, and stakeholder management.<\/span>
<\/li>- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.<\/span>
<\/li>- Knowledge of SQL and data analysis for troubleshooting and validation.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>
<\/p>
Preferred Skills<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>- Exposure Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, FX, Money Markets, or Structured Products.<\/span>
<\/li>- Understanding Calypso configurations, workflows, reporting, and interfaces.<\/span>
<\/li>- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.<\/span>
<\/li>- Familiarity with integration concepts, APIs, and financial messaging standards.<\/span>
<\/li>- Knowledge of regulatory reporting and risk management processes.<\/span>
