Job Summary:<\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>We are seeking an experienced <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Calypso Java Developer<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span>(6+ years) to work on building and supporting trading and post<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span><\/span>trade systems within capital markets. The ideal candidate will have strong <\/span><\/span>expertise<\/span> <\/span>in <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Core Java and Calypso (v16+)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>, along w<\/span>ith a solid understanding of financial instruments such as equities and FX. This role involves customizing Calypso modules, supporting business workflows, and collaborating closely with operations and business users.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Design, develop, and <\/span>maintain <\/span>Java\-based applications <\/span>within the Calypso platform.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Customize Calypso modules including <\/span>Workflows, <\/span><\/span>BOMessages<\/span>, <\/span><\/span>BOTransfers<\/span>, Scheduled Tasks, Reports, and Engines.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Work with <\/span>Calypso APIs <\/span>to build enhancements and integrations.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Support trading lifecycle processes including <\/span>trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with <\/span>operations and business teams <\/span>to understand requirements and resolve issues.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide <\/span>application support.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Write and <\/span>optimize <\/span>SQL queries <\/span>for data analysis and reporting.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Work with version control tools and follow development best practices.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning activities.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Required Skills and Qualification<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • 6+ years of experience in <\/span>Java development (Core Java JDK 1.8 or above).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • At least 3\u20134 years of hands\-on experience with <\/span>Calypso (v16 or higher).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong expertise in <\/span>Calypso customizations <\/span>(Workflows, BO modules, Reports, Engines).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Working knowledge of <\/span>financial instruments <\/span>such as equities and FX.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Understanding of <\/span>trading lifecycle <\/span>(settlement, reconciliation, reporting).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong SQL skills with experience in <\/span>Oracle or Sybase databases.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Basic knowledge of <\/span>Unix/Linux commands.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience using version control tools such as <\/span>Git or SVN.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong analytical, problem<\/span>\u2011solving, and debugging skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
