Camera Control-Systems Engineer

Camera control-systems engineering involves systems-level analysis and modeling of imaging and sensing systems, modeling dynamic systems, developing robust control strategies, design and construction of prototypes to guide development, definition of test procedures, and documentation of requirements and design considerations. Minimum Qualifications BS degree in Physics, ME, EE, ASE (Aero/Astro), CS, or Optical Engineering Experience with control systems design for electro-mechanical systems Experience with estimation strategies (e.g. Kalman filters) Experience with Matlab and/or Simulink for modeling simulation Preferred Qualifications MS/PhD in Physics, ME, EE, ASE (Aero/Astro), CS, or Optical Engineering and 10+ years of relevant industry experience Experience with leading technical projects with small to medium teams Experience with real-time control realizations like MCU, FPGA, RTOS, etc. Experience with inertial navigation sensors and/or sensor fusion Experience with one or more 3rd party controls instrumentation solutions (e.g. DSpace, Speedgoat, NI CRIO) Experience with SW development in C/C++, (i.e., version control, change review process, coding practices)
