The Opportunity: Capital Markets Manager, Americas

Tilt is hiring a Capital Markets Manager to own and scale our funding strategy across the Americas — Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of strategy, structured finance, and treasury operations.

Based in São Paulo, you will serve as Tilt's primary capital markets presence in the Americas. You'll build and manage the institutional relationships that fund our loan origination growth, structure facilities suited to each local market, and own the treasury function that keeps day-to-day liquidity running smoothly — from cash forecasting and FX management to funding draws, paydowns, and bank operations. This role reports to Tilt's Head of Capital Markets.

How You'll Make an Impact

Own Americas Funding Strategy

  • Develop and execute Tilt's end-to-end capital markets strategy for Brazil, Mexico, and the U.S., ensuring sufficient and cost-efficient funding to support loan origination growth across all three markets

  • Structure, negotiate, and close debt facilities — including FIDCs, warehouse lines, forward flow agreements, debentures, and other secured financing vehicles — with banks, credit funds, and institutional investors

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of lender relationships, from local Brazilian banks (Itaú, Bradesco, BTG, Nubank) and LatAm development finance institutions to U.S. and global credit funds

  • Design the right funding vehicle for each market, accounting for local regulations, currency dynamics, tax structure, and investor appetite

Lead Investor Relations & Market Development

  • Serve as the face of Tilt to capital markets counterparties across the Americas — building trust, credibility, and long-term partnerships

  • Prepare and present credit decks, portfolio performance data, and investor materials that communicate Tilt's risk model and growth trajectory with clarity

  • Track market conditions and benchmark Tilt's cost of capital; proactively identify opportunities to diversify or optimize the funding mix

  • Represent Tilt at industry conferences and investor events in the region

Manage Treasury & Liquidity

  • Own day-to-day cash and liquidity management for the Americas region, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity buffers, and working capital optimization

  • Manage funding draws and paydowns across active debt facilities, ensuring timely execution and accurate reconciliation against facility borrowing bases

  • Oversee FX exposure management across BRL, MXN, and USD, including hedging strategies where appropriate

  • Maintain and deepen banking relationships across the region — managing operating accounts, payment rails, and bank service agreements

  • Build and maintain treasury reporting, including daily liquidity dashboards and variance analysis against forecast

  • Establish and enforce treasury controls and operational procedures as Tilt scales its Americas footprint

Drive Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work closely with Credit, Data Science, Legal, and Finance teams to structure facilities aligned with portfolio performance and risk appetite

  • Partner with regional GMs in Brazil and Mexico to translate local origination plans into funding requirements

  • Collaborate with Tilt's global Capital Markets team to ensure consistency of approach and leverage shared infrastructure

Why You're a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of capital markets, structured finance, or investment banking experience, with significant exposure to consumer lending or fintech

  • Deep expertise in Brazilian capital markets, including hands-on experience structuring and closing FIDC transactions and other Brazilian securitization vehicles

  • Proven track record of managing institutional investor relationships and leading the end-to-end execution of debt facilities

  • Hands-on treasury experience — including cash flow forecasting, funding operations (draws/paydowns), and FX management in a multi-currency environment

  • Strong quantitative foundation — comfortable modeling portfolio economics, understanding loss curves, and speaking the language of credit investors

  • Executive presence and communication skills — able to build relationships with institutional counterparties and present complex structures to leadership

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; Spanish is a plus

  • Preference for candidates based in São Paulo, with willingness to travel as required
