This is a remote position.<\/p>
We are hiring a Caption/Subtitle Translator to join our project team. You will work alongside other <\/span> translators and report directly to the project manager. Your main tasks will include translating captions/subtitle, Machine Translation Post Editing (MTPE), Transcreation etc. To succeed in this role you should have a natural understanding of target language and a good grasp of grammar.<\/span>
<\/p>\n \n - Translate content within captions/subtitles, documents, web pages, and software<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Fix incorrect cultural translation issues which were done using Machine Translation (MTPE)<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Ability to change translation by confining them to limited number of words without breaking the meaning<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Maintain translation database by using Translation Management Software<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Provide quality assurance for the translation process<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Work with a wide range of media and <\/span> translation software<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Resolve issues associated with translation, localization, and culture<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Engage with other departments to provide translation services<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Implement feedback and changes whenever possible<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Below are the qualifications expected of a translator:<\/span>
<\/p>\n \n - Bachelor's degree<\/span> in communications or linguistics <\/span>
<\/li>\n - Minimum four years experience in the translation field<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Proficiency in any Translation <\/span> Management System tools<\/span> and software<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Knowledge of the translation process, terminology, and localization techniques <\/span>
<\/li>\n - Familiarity with localization guidelines and standards<\/span>
<\/li>\n - Ability to convert<\/span> written materials into a second language<\/span> <\/span>
<\/li>\n - Excellent translation, writing, and <\/span> communication skills<\/span> <\/span>
<\/li>\n - Fluency in at least two of the target languages <\/span>
<\/li>\n - Ability to work under tight deadlines<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>\n - Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus<\/span>
