We are hiring a Caption/Subtitle Translator to join our\n project team. You will work alongside other <\/span> translators and report directly to the project manager. Your\n main tasks will include translating captions/subtitle, Machine\n Translation Post Editing (MTPE), Transcreation etc. To succeed in\n this role you should have a natural understanding of target\n language and a good grasp of grammar.<\/span>
<\/p>- Translate content within captions/subtitles,\n documents, web pages, and software<\/span>
<\/li>- Fix incorrect cultural translation issues which were\n done using Machine Translation (MTPE)<\/span>
<\/li>- Ability to change translation by confining them to\n limited number of words without breaking the meaning<\/span>
<\/li>- Maintain translation database by using\n Translation Management Software<\/span>
<\/li>- Provide quality assurance for the translation process<\/span>
<\/li>- Work with a wide range of media and <\/span> translation software<\/span>
<\/li>- Resolve issues associated with translation, localization,\n and culture<\/span>
<\/li>- Engage with other\n departments to provide translation services<\/span>
<\/li>- Implement feedback and changes whenever\n possible<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Below are the qualifications expected of a\n translator:<\/span>
<\/p>- Bachelor's degree<\/span> in\n communications or linguistics <\/span>
<\/li>- Minimum four years experience in the translation\n field<\/span>
<\/li>- Proficiency in any\n Translation <\/span> Management System tools<\/span> and software<\/span>
<\/li>- Knowledge of the translation\n process, terminology, and localization\n techniques <\/span>
<\/li>- Familiarity\n with localization guidelines and standards<\/span>
<\/li>- Ability to convert<\/span> written materials\n into a second language<\/span> <\/span>
<\/li>- Excellent translation, writing, and <\/span> communication skills<\/span> <\/span>
<\/li>- Fluency in at least\n two of the target languages <\/span>
<\/li>- Ability to work under tight deadlines<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Additional\n certification in Linguistics is a plus<\/span>
