Cardiac Rehab Tech (PRN - as needed)

Responsibilities

• Works under general supervision in carrying out the daily activities of the Cardiac Rehabilitation program.
• Identifies and addresses Cardiac Rehab patient’s educational needs.
• Instructs and supervises Cardiac Rehabilitation patients during exercise and is responsible for safe and effective monitoring of the patients.
• Works closely with the Coordinator of Cardiac Rehab and the Cardiac Rehab Nurse to ensure that individual patient goals are met.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school education or equivalent.
• Related nursing experience is preferred.
• On the job training will be provided before assuming full responsibilities.
