We're looking for Care Assistants in the Fareham area who are ready to start on a flexible hours contract, with a clear pathway to guaranteed hours after 12 weeks. It's a genuine route in not a holding pattern.
The shifts we're looking for (minimum 3 days for weekday)
Morning shifts, late morning, evenings, and split shifts
Example flexible pattern: 9:30am–1pm and 5:15pm–10pm — your afternoon stays yours

£16.59/hr weekdays | £17.15/hr weekends holiday pay already included, so the rate you see is the rate you earn
Paid mileage at 35p per mile
One-hour minimum visits no rushed 15-minute calls; proper time with every client

Who we're looking for
No care experience needed we'll train you fully from day one. What matters most is that you're reliable, warm, and genuinely interested in people.
You'll need:
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
The right to work in the UK
Availability for some weekend work (every other weekend)
A calm, caring approach the kind of person you'd trust with your own family
What the role actually involves
You'll support people to live independently in their own homes helping with personal care, preparing meals, prompting medication, and being a familiar, reassuring presence. Some days that means accompanying a client to a GP appointment. Other days, it's a cup of tea and a proper conversation that makes the biggest difference.
This isn't a warehouse or a call centre. It's work that feels meaningful and that connects you to your local community in a real way.
