Responsibilities:<\/span><\/h3>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage a caseload of participants and provide work readiness counseling and mentoring<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assess participant competencies, work history, education, skills, and barriers to employment<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct ongoing individual meetings related to job search, job retention, and job readiness<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop individualized employment plans for short\- and long\-term goals<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain information on area resources and employers<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Track participant accountability, attendance, and employment retention<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Notify government agencies when a participant loses or reduces work hours<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain periodic contact to assess job retention and advancement issues<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide training and employment advancement information<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor participant progress toward self\-sufficiency<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain accurate electronic and paper case files<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide case management focused on self\-sufficiency<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Facilitate access to education, training, and employment services<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Qualifications:<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Associate\u2019s degree or 12 months of related work experience<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong verbal and written communication skills<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Demonstrated customer service skills<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Familiarity with local communities and resources<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>1\-3 years of workforce development or related experience preferred<\/span>
<\/p>
