FT Carpenter [Events & Retail]

💰Pay: $3k to $5k (based on experience)

Job Scope

• Carry out carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks to support operational requirements.

• Fabricate and assemble custom furniture, fixtures, fittings, and installations according to technical drawings and project specifications.

• Accurately measure, cut, shape, and finish timber and other construction materials for production and installation.

• Build and install structural frameworks, including partitions, flooring systems, and door frames.

• Conduct inspections of existing structures and carry out repairs or replacements of damaged components as necessary.

• Maintain and oversee the proper use, storage, and inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free working environment.

Requirements

• Able to read and understand architectural plans, shop drawings, and structural layouts accurately.

• Capability to work outdoors, stand for prolonged periods, and lift heavy loads.

• Proficient in the safe operation of a wide range of hand tools and power equipment used in carpentry and fabrication work.
