Carrier & Pricing Manager

If you know the road freight market, understand carrier dynamics, pricing, and enjoy negotiating the best deals, this might be the right move for you.

We are looking for a Carrier Manager who will play a key role in:

• Developing and managing our carrier network;

• Securing capacity in a competitive market;

• Driving cost efficiency and service performance.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in road freight procurement and/ or pricing;

• Solid understanding of the road freight market, pricing and carrier dynamics;

• Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset;

• Good understanding of transport legislation;

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;

• Fluent Romanian & good English.

What you’ll do:

• Identify, audit, and onboard road carriers;

• Negotiate rates and manage carrier contracts;

• Run transport tenders and own the evaluation of carrier offers;

• Monitor and improve carrier performance and service quality;

• Track market trends and drive cost optimization initiatives;

• Drive pricing strategy by analysing lanes, rates, margins, and market competitiveness;

• Prepare and validate pricing proposals for customer tenders and spot requests;

• Monitor pricing performance and provide insights to improve profitability and win rates;

• Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Commercial teams.
