Cash Receipts Manager

Overview

The Los Angeles, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking Cash Receipts Manager. The Cash Receipts Manager is responsible for overseeing all cash handling and receipt processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role manages daily cash operations, reconciles accounts, and ensures payments are correctly applied to client accounts. It also includes leading and developing team members to support a collaborative, high-performing environment. The position enforces adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, and requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to maintain financial accuracy and coordinate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance Required
  • A minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in similar role and organization
  • Advanced user of ERP systems such as Aderant or similar, preferred
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Must oversee daily cash receipts process and posting activities
  • Must maintain and enforce strong internal controls and compliance standards
  • Must supervise, mentor, and develop cash receipts team members
