The Cashier/Cook is responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling cash register transactions, preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the store remains stocked and organized. This role requires the ability to multitask in a fast\-paced retail environment while following food safety and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service.

  • Operate the cash register and process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.

  • Prepare hot food items, sandwiches, breakfast items, and other menu offerings according to company standards.

  • Maintain food quality and comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines.

  • Restock shelves, coolers, beverages, and food displays.
    <\/li>
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are running low.
    <\/li>
  • Keep the kitchen, dining area, restrooms, and sales floor clean and organized.
    <\/li>
  • Receive deliveries and assist with stocking merchandise.
    <\/li>
  • Verify age identification when selling age\-restricted products in accordance with Texas law.
    <\/li>
  • Handle customer questions and resolve basic complaints professionally.
    <\/li>
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, cash reconciliation, and securing the store.

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Qualifications
    <\/h3>
    • High school diploma or GED preferred.
      <\/li>
    • Previous cashier, retail, food service, or convenience store experience is a plus.
      <\/li>
    • Basic math and cash handling skills.
      <\/li>
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      <\/li>
    • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
      <\/li>
    • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

      Physical Requirements

      • Stand and walk for extended periods.
