Cashier / Front-of-House Service Staff (Full-Time)

Job Description

We are looking for a customer-oriented Cashier / Front-of-House Service Staff to support daily restaurant operations and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers and assist with menu enquiries and order taking.
  • Process cash, credit card and electronic payments accurately.
  • Pack takeaway orders and prepare cutlery, condiments and serving items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the ordering counter, dining area and surrounding workspaces.
  • Replenish front-of-house supplies and ensure sufficient inventory throughout operating hours.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely service.
  • Address customer feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Adhere to company policies and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in F&B, hospitality or retail customer service will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic proficiency in cashier systems and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Customer-oriented with a positive and service-minded attitude.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
  • Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
