Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet the customers with “ Bienvenido’s” and a smile
  • Entering food orders using cash register POS System
  • Handling Cash and credit transactions.
  • Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift, Accept cash and return the correct change.
  • Maintain a well-stocked salsa bar, drink cup lids, and napkins before and after shift, Clean dining room, and cashier station
  • Maintain Beverage Fridges stocked and clean
  • Upsell products Sides, Drinks, Aguas Frescas, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and follow all food safety and Health & safety guidelines
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Take pride in serving guests and providing exceptional customer service
  • Completes other duties as assigned by the MOD( Manager on Duty)


Requirements

  • Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good math skills
  • Basic PC knowledge
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Uphold the company’s mission, vision, and values
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize task

Hourly rate = $18/hr. + tips
