Cashier

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Process cash, credit/debit card, mobile, and other payment transactions.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change as required.
  • Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently.
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile cash at the end of shifts.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Follow company policies, food safety standards, and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties during non-peak hours.
  • Mop floors and maintain cleanliness of dining, cashier, and customer areas.
  • Clear and collect used dishes, trays, and utensils from tables.
  • Assist in washing, sorting, and storing tableware when required.
  • Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, and other high-touch surfaces.
  • Dispose of waste and ensure bins are emptied and kept clean.
