Cashier
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Process cash, credit/debit card, mobile, and other payment transactions.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change as required.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile cash at the end of shifts.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Follow company policies, food safety standards, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties during non-peak hours.
- Mop floors and maintain cleanliness of dining, cashier, and customer areas.
- Clear and collect used dishes, trays, and utensils from tables.
- Assist in washing, sorting, and storing tableware when required.
- Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Dispose of waste and ensure bins are emptied and kept clean.
