Casino Bartender
Responsible for providing friendly and excellent service to Caesars Entertainment guests. Prepares and pours drinks for customers and Beverage Servers.
- Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner, interacting in an upbeat and positive manner.
- Provides fast, efficient, courteous and professional service to casino guests, preparing drinks according to prescribed recipes
- Accurately handles all cash transactions; presents customer with bar receipt.
- Converts cash to coin for any customer playing the slot machines in the bar area.
- Prepares and pours drinks for the casino floor Beverage Servers according to prescribed recipes
- Adheres to department policy on number of orders and drinks to be served at one time.
- Monitors and coaches servers to assure they are utilizing proper “Call Order"
- Rings in all prepared drinks on register, following established procedures.
- Accounts for assigned bank, all money received and all transactions recorded during shift.
- Completes proper count sheets for money drop, closing impress, and slot banks.
- Keeps informed of new promotional beverage programs. Adheres to all posted department memos.
- Provides property information on current events, promotions and attractions to customers.
- Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions.
- Ensures the Casino bar is stocked with all supplies and liquor.
- Completes quarterly bar inventories
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines (CARE).
- Checks for ID’s according to Caesars policy.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience required
- Must attend Caesars Entertainment Bartender School
- Fluent and literate in English
- Ability to accurately handle cash
- Excellent communication skills
- Good math skills
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to move around station quickly
- Ability to stand for eight hours
- Dexterity to operate cash register and to prepare drinks
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, squat
- Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
