Catalogue Management Specialist - Kuwait

Kuwait remains one of Deliveroo’s key strategic markets within the region, with significant opportunities across grocery, retail, pharmacy, and specialist categories. As we continue to scale selection and improve our customer proposition, strong catalogue management plays a critical role in driving conversion, basket size, and operational excellence.
This role will be based in Kuwait and will work closely with the Commercial, Operations, and central DSC (Delivery Support Centre) teams.
The Role
As a Catalogue Management Specialist, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining a high-quality catalogue experience across Deliveroo Kuwait’s Grocery and Retail partners. You will focus on catalogue completeness, category structure, menu optimisation, and customer experience enhancement to ensure catalogues are accurate, standardised, and conversion-ready.
You will work closely with Account Managers and DSC teams to support assortment optimisation, discoverability, and merchandising initiatives while helping establish scalable catalogue standards across the market.
Responsibilities
Curate and optimise partner catalogues to ensure menus are complete, accurate, standardised, and conversion-ready.
Maintain catalogue quality across Grocery & Retail partners, including:
Item names (English & Arabic)
Descriptions (English & Arabic)
Images
Categories
Barcodes / PLUs
Build and maintain category structures, including:
Shop by Aisle / NGM structures
Explore categories
Seasonal and campaign collections
Best-seller merchandising
Standardise category naming, imagery, and tagging across similar business modules (e.g. pharmacies, supermarkets, cosmetics, electronics).
Support assortment optimisation and product discoverability to improve customer experience and conversion.
Lead end-to-end catalogue creation for selected key strategic partners and launches.
Partner closely with Account Managers to identify catalogue gaps, menu inconsistencies, and merchandising opportunities.
Build and maintain catalogue databases and trackers to improve visibility, reporting, and scalability.
Support ongoing catalogue clean-up and optimisation initiatives across the Kuwait market.
Provide catalogue expertise and guidance for complex or exceptional cases requiring advanced catalogue knowledge.
Scope Clarification
The Catalogue Management Specialist is responsible for catalogue quality, structure, and optimisation. The following operational execution tasks are handled by the DSC team and coordinated directly by Account Managers:Price & stock updates
Standard menu creation
Item & image uploads
Promotions & offers setup
General menu fixes
The Catalogue Management Specialist may support on exceptional or complex catalogue-related cases where required.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in catalogue management, content operations, e-commerce, grocery, retail, or related fields.
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets with the ability to manage and analyse large datasets.
Strong attention to detail with a structured and process-oriented mindset.
Understanding of catalogue structures, taxonomy, merchandising, or customer experience optimisation is highly preferred.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English required; Arabic is highly preferred.
Experience working with grocery, retail, or marketplace catalogues is a strong advantage.
