CCB – Card Risk Portfolio Reporting VP

As a Card Risk Portfolio Reporting Lead, you'll work with the risk team to deliver accurate reports with strict deadlines and governance, while consistently improving efficiency through automation and providing analysis for deeper insights into trends and customer behavior.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of analytics and reporting to help the Card Risk organization monitor their origination quality and portfolio performance through impactful reports/dashboards.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Build report efficiency through automation and AI innovation
• Oversee and present month-end reporting for executive forums, ensuring actionable insights for senior management.
• Drive integration of insights across card business, identifying opportunities for enhanced risk management.
• Partner with senior business leaders to proactively identify and address emerging risk trends and reporting needs.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements across all risk reporting.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Technology, and Business teams to align data and reporting initiatives with business objectives.
• Oversee support for regulatory examinations and audits, ensuring timely and accurate data and documentation delivery.
Required qualifications, skills, and/or capabilities:
• MS degree in statistics, econometric, quantitative finance, or other quantitative field required and 5 years Risk Management or other quantitative experience preferred
• Otherwise, BS degree and minimum 7 years Risk Management or other quantitative experience required
• 3+ years leading and developing a team of analytics professionals
• Advanced understanding of data analysis tools such as SAS, Python, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
• Ability to query large amounts of data from a big data environment and transform the raw data into actionable management information
• Familiarity with risk analytic techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience delivering recommendations to management
