Cellular Software Development Engineer

Apple’s Cellular Software team is seeking talented, highly motivated, and disciplined engineers to work across layers on ground-breaking cellular technologies. The position involves identifying and/or developing core cellular technologies that solves everyday problems for customers using iPhone, iPad, Watch and other wireless product lines. Minimum Qualifications At least 2-8 years’ experience with cellular protocol stacks Strong Software Engineering skills including design, programming (C, C++, script) and debugging (GDB, LLDB) Experience on Telephony / Modem Interface / Non-Access Stratum / Access Stratum / L1 Layers Good understanding of 3GPP/ETSI standards Preferred Qualifications Bachelors or Master’s in, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Knowledge in LTE / 5G NR technology is a strong plus Highly motivated and self-directed Excellent problem-solving skills Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently participating multiple projects across many teams Obsessively passionate and inquisitive and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
