Cellular System Engineer

As a Cellular System Engineer, you will be responsible for the pre- and post-silicon bring up, and validation of end-to-end cellular systems. You will understand and map systems algorithms and requirements to HW/FW architecture, simulation and emulation based validation of the control flows and algorithms. Minimum Qualifications Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree. Understanding of communication theory and signal processing, AGC, beamforming, Tx power control, mitigation of radio impairments, and calibration algorithms. Experience with Matlab, Python, and C/C++ and efficient analysis and automation scripting. Good communication skills, both written & verbal especially in a multi-functional environment. Demonstrate clarity of thought and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications MSEE or beyond is preferred. Experience in the design and bringup of wireless communication systems with expertise in cellular systems preferred. Strong technical background in 5G-NR/LTE/UMTS (3G/2G) physical layer and protocols. Hands-on experience in applying AI/ML techniques on real-world data sets to tackle sophisticated engineering problems. Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms is a plus. Hands-on experience in the bring up of real silicon in the lab. Ability to efficiently use lab equipment (such as spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, etc).
