Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Assist with equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, and bedside devices
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and hydration
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient care environments
- Perform clerical and support tasks related to patient care and documentation
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and care team members
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards
- Participate in training, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required (or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant)
- BLS certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- One year of clinical experience preferred
- Ability to assist with lifting and patient mobility (50+ lbs as needed)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
