Change Manager - Fixed Term 18th months

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our delivery team based in Melbourne (Geelong). This is an 18month fixed term opportunity, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This role requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Geelong, working closely with programme stakeholders, business leaders, and delivery teams.

You will support the delivery of organisational change across complex transformation programmes, working alongside the Programme Change Manager. You will lead key change workstreams, ensuring business readiness, stakeholder engagement, and adoption outcomes are successfully achieved.

This role is well suited to someone with strong experience in Agile delivery environments, and exposure to regulated industries and ERP transformations.

About you

  • Experience leading the delivery of endtoend change activities for defined workstreams within large transformation programmes.
  • Supporting the Programme Change Manager in executing the overall change strategy and approach.
  • Developing and delivering detailed change plans, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption activities.
  • Conducting impact and readiness assessments to identify how changes affect business units and stakeholders.
  • Partnering closely with delivery teams to align change activities with programme timelines, releases, and milestones.
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive engagement, readiness, and adoption.
  • Designing and delivering clear, consistent communications tailored to different audiences.
  • Leading training needs analysis and supporting the development of effective learning solutions.
  • Monitoring adoption metrics, feedback, and business readiness to inform continuous improvement of change activities.
  • Identifying and managing change risks, issues, and resistance, escalating where appropriate.
  • Coaching business stakeholders and leaders to help embed sustainable change and new ways of working

Consulting experience in a business transformation capacity is highly desirable, but most importantly you’ll bring a consulting mindset – one that’s able to deal with ambiguity and learn on the fly. You’ll also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience & Background:

You will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Change Manager within largescale transformation or technology programmes.
  • Experience leading change workstreams and operating within structured change frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, or similar).
  • A strong track record supporting complex, multistream programmes in Agile, SAFe, or hybrid environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across business and technology audiences.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching capabilities.
  • Experience in insurance or enterprise technology platforms is advantageous (Guidewire beneficial but not required)
