Role Summary

The Channel Data Collection Specialist & Analyst is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing channel data from Partners across EMEA. This role requires multilingual communication skills—English, German, preferable also one additional EMEA language—to engage partners via email, calls, and virtual meetings to ensure accurate and timely data submission. The role participates in data collection negotiations, works towards process improvements while supporting project/account teams, and identifies risks and challenges. The role gathers customer feedback, manages records of customer interactions, and prepares reports for senior management. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent partner‑facing communication skills and cultural fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with channel partners German & English (one additional EMEA language is a plus) to request, clarify, and validate data submissions.

  • Conduct regular outreach via email, phone, and virtual meetings to ensure timely reporting and resolve data discrepancies.

  • Build strong working relationships with partners to improve data quality and reporting compliance.

  • Maintain clear documentation of partner interactions, data issues, and resolutions.

  • Collect, consolidate, and manage sell‑in, sell‑out, inventory, pricing, and promotional data from multiple sources.

  • Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting standards.

  • Track missing or late submissions and proactively follow up with partners.

  • Maintain structured data repositories, templates, and data dictionaries.

  • Analyze channel data trends across regions, partner types, and product categories.

  • Identify anomalies, risks, and opportunities for growth or operational improvement.

  • Produce scorecards,and reports for internal stakeholders

  • Support forecasting, planning, and business reviews with data-driven insights if the case

  • Work closely with Channel Sales Managers, Partner Account Managers (Sales, Sales Operations), Operations, Business Intelligence teams.

  • Support the development of partner performance frameworks, incentive programs, and compliance tracking

  • Provide insights that help shape channel strategy and partner segmentation

  • Recommend improvements to data collection workflows and partner reporting processes.

  • Collaborate with BI/IT teams to automate recurring reports and integrate new data sources.

  • Contribute to the development of standardized reporting templates and governance practices.

  • Stays updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements while guiding junior team members in navigating day-to-day challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in English & German, and ideally one additional EMEA language (e.g., French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic).

  • Ideally Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • It’s a plus: 2–5 years of experience in channel operations, sales operations, data analysis, or partner-facing roles.

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple languages.

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Typically has 3/4 years of work experience, preferably in account management, business development, supply chain, customer service, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
