Job Description:

Purpose :

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Channel Offer Manager (Company Owned Channel)
has direct interfaces to the local leadership team in order to optimize the financial performance of Shell Mobility Indonesia Company Owned (CO) Channel through the delivery of a profitable, competitive offer to the Retailers, an effective business planning process and advanced analysis and development of operational efficiency improvement opportunities, while ensuring compliance to the Global Operating Platform Principles. The Channel Offer Manager works closely with peers in the broader Marketing team, Ethics & Compliance, Legal, Regional and Global team to ensure that programs are developed and delivered to drive operational excellence, meet the demands of the business, and deliver incremental value.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage the integrated offer to all Company Owned (CO) channels. Coordinate input from internal stakeholders into Retailer value proposition offer ensuring a single coordinated offer to the Retailer. Benchmark, analyses and propose adjustments in the channel offers to ensure its competitiveness in the market.
  • Manage the offer to Retailers as a marketing category, adapting and re-developing the elements according to the global guidelines, managing offer elements: pricing, cross border suppliers, promotions, product detailed definition, service levels agreements, ensuring operational readiness, and any other function that is required to make the offer category successful.
  • Define and regularly review the platform and framework, integrated offer (covering fuel and non-fuel) which not only maximize profit to Shell, but also competitive in industry to attract right retailers and motivate existing retailers to drive their site performance both commercial and operation excellence.
  • Responsible to develop competitive CO retailer remuneration scheme (covering fuel and non-fuel) and the coordination of the entire business planning process.
  • Monitor and analyze CO Channel performances and profitability to ensure the offer to Retailers is in line with the strategy with sustainable profitability scheme to partners.
  • Responsible for the content of contracts for Channel Owned channel.
  • Responsible for assuring the compliance and adherence with global policies and standards related to the channel offers eg. Global Operating Platform (GOP) principles.
  • Monitor the Global Channel survey results and implement recommendations identified as part of the annual survey
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in all areas related channel offers for CO channel
  • Localize the Mobility Offer Book ensuring it reflects the local agreements and is aligned with global principles.
  • Manages the Retailer Master Planning process including cluster size (how many sites can be assigned under the Retailer), License to Operate for Retailer, and contractual breach/termination process. Accountable for the Retailer Recruitment, Negotiation, Renewal and Closure processes.
