Channel Sales Manager
What You Will Do
You will play a critical role in managing and driving sales of Johnson Controls’ systems products, field equipment, and solutions. You will build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering high‑quality solutions that meet expectations and drive sustainable business growth.
How You Will Do It
- Develop in‑depth knowledge of BMS products and industry trends, gain a strong understanding of internal processes, and continuously enhance professional capabilities to strengthen customer confidence
- Formulate annual regional sales targets and strategies based on market analysis and company direction, ensuring the sales team achieves assigned revenue objectives and year‑on‑year growth targets
- Lead the preparation of customer tenders and proposals, conduct effective negotiations, and secure orders with optimal profit margins to achieve assigned sales and financial objectives
- Prepare monthly regional business reports, analyze performance, and propose improvement actions to support management decision‑making
- Proactively expand customer networks, maintain and enhance customer satisfaction through regular communication and feedback, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality after‑sales service
- Actively develop sales leads, identify and evaluate customer needs, build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers, and implement effective follow‑up strategies
- Monitor market competition and regularly report competitor activities and market trends to further optimize sales strategies
- Independently manage the development and follow‑up of BMS projects, providing customized solutions and ensuring successful project delivery
- Comply with and uphold Johnson Controls’ policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and protect the company’s reputation
- Promote BMS products and systems within the assigned region and establish strong partnerships with design institutes, industry associations, and system integrators to expand market share
- Manage customer data and support the development of localized product catalogues to meet customer requirements
- Conduct telemarketing and new business development activities, leveraging digital tools to improve sales efficiency
- Explore and deliver end‑to‑end BMS projects, providing comprehensive industry solutions to customers
What We Look For
Reqauired
- Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines are preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or marketing within industrial machinery or related industries, with strong market awareness
- Self‑motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and a proactive work attitude; able to work independently and solve problems effectively
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales skills, with the ability to influence customer decision‑making
- Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to a fast‑paced working environment
