Responsibilities
As a Charge Nurse in the Labor & Delivery department at Clovis Community, you'll join a close-knit team within a 16-bed unit known for its welcoming and supportive environment. Your role is to be the primary liaison for the care team with physicians, patients, and families. Each shift the oversight of patient safety, quality and regulatory activities flows through you and you’re the one responsible for coordinating patient flow and staff assignments. It’s a tall order and you’re ready to achieve those heights in your career.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience as a staff L&D RN or demonstrated competency required
- 6 months experience as a Relief Charge RN or in a team leadership role required
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
