Chef de Partie - Bacar Restaurant & Bar

At Pullman Sydney Olympic Park, our signature Bacar Restaurant is known for refined dishes, bold flavours, and impeccable presentation. We’re now seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our talented culinary team and bring their flair to one of Sydney’s most exciting dining destinations.

What You’ll be doing:

  • Work alongside our Executive and Sous Chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
  • Lead by example, supervising the kitchen in their absence and guiding junior team members.
  • Prepare and present dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation across all sections.
  • Support in menu development, mise en place, and maintaining stock control and cost efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • Relevant culinary trade qualifications with proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a hotel environment.
  • Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary Australian cuisine and seasonal produce.
  • A passion for flavour, presentation, and continuous learning.
  • Calm under pressure, with great teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and WHS standards.
  • Be flexible to work on a rotating roster that includes nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Have full working rights in Australia.
