A Waiter is responsible for providing professional, attentive, and friendly service to guests while ensuring a high-quality dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages according to service standards.
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Process bills and handle payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Upsell menu items and beverages when appropriate.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
