Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to oversee kitchen operations, prepare high-quality dishes, and maintain food quality and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage kitchen activities efficiently, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with Singapore food safety regulations
  • Monitor food preparation and kitchen operations to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Manage inventory, stock ordering, and ingredient storage properly
  • Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs effectively
  • Inspect ingredients and food products to ensure freshness and quality
  • Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff when required
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and used safely
  • Work closely with service staff to ensure timely food delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Follow workplace safety and health guidelines at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar kitchen role
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Familiarity with food hygiene and safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
