Chemical Cleaning Technician

Job Summary

You will support cleaning, polishing, and packaging of precision components in a controlled cleanroom environment, ensuring product quality and safety while assisting daily production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Clean precision components using approved solvents such as IPA to maintain product standards
  • Perform manual scrubbing, polishing, and detailing of parts using appropriate tools and materials to ensure surface quality
  • Prepare and package components within a cleanroom environment for shipment, maintaining cleanliness and contamination control
  • Support masking of parts for processes like bead-blasting to protect designated areas
  • Operate safely in chemical wet bench areas, handling cleaning processes according to safety protocols
  • Conduct in-process inspections to verify parts meet quality standards during cleaning stages
  • Record and update production data accurately in spreadsheets for tracking and reporting
  • Follow quality assurance procedures and identify deviations to maintain compliance with standards
  • Maintain good housekeeping using 6S principles and ensure adherence to safety practices
  • Support general maintenance and perform ad-hoc operational tasks as needed to sustain production flow

Required competencies and certifications

  • NITEC / Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating or permanent shifts

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience working in a cleanroom or manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge of chemical handling
  • Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks with good attention to detail and quality awareness
  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: up to $2,200 (Depending on experience)
  • Allowances: $5 daily shift allowance
  • Bonuses: Annual Wage Supplement (AWS), Quarterly Profit-Sharing, and $2,000 Sign-on Bonus
  • Leave: 14 days Annual Leave, increasing yearly
  • Transport: Company transport provided
