CHEMIST/JUNIOR CHEMIST

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection and testing on all incoming raw material, work in progress (WIP) material and outgoing finished goods.

• Ensure all incoming raw materials & packaging material meet the specifications and released for use in production.

• Perform inventory transactions in Microsoft NAV as part of quality inspection and product release process.

• Maintain clean and safe work environment complying with workplace safety & health regulation.

• Assist in investigations and follow-up of products and materials complaint, reject, recall and returned from customers.

• Maintain filing system for the outgoing inspection reports.

• Assist in trending of quality data, monitoring and report on quality procedural deviations.

• Participate in quality and process improvement opportunities

• Support QC/R&D such as preparing lab-mix sample

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma, Higher NITEC or NITEC in Chemistry

• 1-2 years experience as QA/ QC technician Chemistry will be an advantage

• Able to work in Laboratory environment

• On the job training provided

• No experience are welcomed to apply

• Good working attitude and willing to learn

• Able to start immediately or within short notice period
