Position Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead the International Headquarters (IHQ) based in Singapore and oversee the company's international business operations across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and other strategic markets.

The CEO will be responsible for defining and executing global growth strategies, driving operational excellence, strengthening international partnerships, and ensuring sustainable business expansion. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience in the renewable energy industry, and a proven track record in managing multinational operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

· Develop and execute the company's global business strategy, aligning commercial objectives with long-term growth plans.

· Identify new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and industry trends within the renewable energy and energy storage sectors.

· Lead strategic planning initiatives to support international market expansion and business diversification.

· Establish and maintain a high-performance organizational culture across global operations.

Global Business Development

· Drive international sales growth and market penetration across residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale energy storage markets.

· Build and strengthen relationships with strategic customers, distributors, EPC partners, utilities, investors, and government agencies.

· Lead negotiations for major commercial agreements, strategic alliances, and cross-border partnerships.

· Evaluate and pursue mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic investment opportunities.

Operational Management

· Oversee international business operations to ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, and operational targets.

· Direct cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, technical support, product management, supply chain, and customer service.

· Optimize global business processes, organizational structures, and resource allocation.

· Monitor business performance through key operational and financial metrics.

Financial Management

· Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

· Ensure effective financial controls, risk management, and corporate governance practices.

· Manage investor relations, banking relationships, and funding initiatives as required.

· Drive sustainable profitability and shareholder value creation.

Organizational Leadership

· Recruit, develop, and retain senior leadership talent across international operations.

· Foster collaboration among regional teams and headquarters functions.

· Promote employee engagement, leadership development, and succession planning.

· Ensure compliance with local employment regulations and corporate policies across international markets.

Corporate Governance & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.

· Represent the company in engagements with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and external stakeholders.

· Manage enterprise risk and ensure business continuity planning.

Requirements

Education

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Energy Management, Finance, or a related field.

· MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Experience

· Minimum 15 years of senior leadership experience, including at least 8 years in executive management roles.

· Proven experience leading multinational organizations within the renewable energy, energy storage, power systems, or related industries.

· Demonstrated success in driving international business growth and managing global operations.

· Experience working across multiple international markets, particularly Europe and Asia-Pacific.

· Strong understanding of the energy storage industry, renewable energy markets, and energy transition trends.

· Fluent English is required.

· Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred to facilitate communication with global stakeholders and regional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in battery energy storage systems (BESS), photovoltaic (PV), virtual power plants (VPP), or smart energy solutions.

· Experience leading international headquarters or regional headquarters functions.

· Familiarity with energy policies, electricity markets, and regulatory frameworks across Europe and Asia-Pacific.

· Experience engaging with institutional investors, strategic partners, and government agencies.
