An international creative group specializing in the exclusive management and development of world-class talent, the strategic and creative development of advertising campaigns, and the creation of high-impact brand experiences is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The Group operates globally through integrated projects for premium and luxury clients, creating strategic connections between talent and brands while delivering high-end creative services for initiatives with significant reputational and commercial value.

The Opportunity

The CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the leadership team, with direct responsibility for the Group’s financial strategy, corporate governance, and economic performance across all subsidiary companies.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of international financial structures, the ability to operate effectively across multiple markets, and a proven track record of building scalable, efficient, and reliable financial processes that support long-term growth.

Role and Responsibilities

The CFO will lead the global Finance function, defining and executing the Group’s financial strategy while reporting directly to the Co-CEOs and ensuring financial strength, operational transparency, and process excellence across all entities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consolidating and optimizing the Group’s financial organization, ensuring scalability and readiness to support future international growth;

  • Coordinating and overseeing all financial activities across international accounting teams and subsidiary companies;

  • Designing and implementing advanced budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes supported by accurate, timely, and reliable reporting systems;

  • Driving profitability management, cash flow optimization, working capital efficiency, and strategic capital allocation;

  • Ensuring full compliance with all accounting, tax, regulatory, and corporate requirements across the jurisdictions in which the Group operates;

  • Establishing robust financial governance frameworks, internal controls, and best practices across the organization;

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to shareholders and senior management, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth;

  • Leading finance transformation initiatives, including process optimization, digitalization, automation, systems implementation, and organizational development;

  • Supporting potential M&A activities, corporate restructuring projects, and strategic growth initiatives as required.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an accomplished finance executive with at least 5–7 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director, or in a comparable senior finance leadership role, preferably within international organizations.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of building finance functions from the ground up or transforming existing structures, combining strategic vision with operational excellence and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Qualifications and Competencies

  • Proven experience managing complex multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction organizations;

  • Previous experience within the luxury, fashion, advertising, creative, media, entertainment, or communications sectors is highly desirable;

  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable financial processes, systems, and organizational structures;

  • Strong strategic thinking, sound business judgment, and the ability to make decisions in dynamic and fast-paced environments;

  • Deep understanding of international taxation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks;

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization;

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills;

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French will be considered a significant advantage.

Location

The successful candidate will be based in Milan, Italy, and will work primarily from MAGroup’s Italian headquarters, located at Via Manin 13, Milan.

Given the international scope of the role, regular interaction with the Group’s global offices, external advisors, and international stakeholders will be required. Occasional international travel may also be necessary to support business operations, strategic initiatives, and corporate development activities

Indicative gross annual salary (RAL): €100,000–€120,000 depending on the candidate’s experience and skills.
