Strategic Financial Planning & Leadership<\/span><\/b>

1. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and implement financial strategies, policies,\nand internal controls aligned with business objectives.<\/span>

2. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to align\nfinancial planning with long\-term organizational goals.<\/span>

3. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting,\nand reporting, ensuring data\-driven decision\-making.<\/span>
<\/p>

4. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepare high\-impact presentations and proposals to\ninvestors and financiers for capital raising efforts.<\/span>
<\/p>

5. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Evaluate and structure bankable investment projects,\nincluding due diligence and financial modelling.<\/span>

Budgeting & Cost Control<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

6. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate the annual budget preparation process,\ncompiling inputs, analyzing variances, and ensuring board alignment.<\/span>

7. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and implement cost control/management\nstrategies to ensure optimal use of financial resources.<\/span>

Cash flow & Financial Analysis<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

8. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor and manage company\u2019s cash flow to ensure\nsufficient liquidity for operations.<\/span>
<\/p>

9. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments on\nprojects and company performance using KPIs and models.<\/span>
<\/p>

10. Analyze financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and cost\-saving\nmeasures.<\/span>

Compliance & Regulatory Management<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

11. Ensure full compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements,\nmanaging relationships with auditors and consultants.<\/span>
<\/p>

12. Present and manage tax strategies to ensure minimal exposure on all\nstatutory remittances.<\/span>

Team Leadership & Operational Oversight<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

13. Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to the finance and\naccounting team to ensure high performance.<\/span>
<\/p>

14. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including audit\nfacilitation and management of fixed assets and inventory.<\/span>
<\/p>

15. Maintain a robust system of accounting controls and improve reporting\nsystems and templates for business intelligence.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Education<\/span><\/b>:<\/span>
<\/p>

  • Minimum BSc/BA<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Certified Financial Analyst<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • MBA or MSc (Added Advantage)<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ICAN, ACCA\nor CFA).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Advanced degree in accounting, finance, or business\nadministration.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Experience<\/span><\/b>:<\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Minimum 10 years\u2019 experience in financial advisory,\ncorporate finance, project finance or private equity<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Extensive experience in financial leadership roles\n(e.g., CFO or senior finance positions).<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong understanding of financial planning, capital\nmanagement, and regulatory compliance.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Proven ability to lead high\-performing teams and\ncollaborate across departments.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Expertise in financial software and tools for\nefficient operations.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Exceptional communication skills for presenting to\nstakeholders and boards.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in mergers, acquisitions, or\ninternational finance, equity and debt restructuring and raises.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
