What will you be doing?
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chief Product Owner (CPO) to guide and support multiple Product Owners within one of our Agile Release Train. In this role you are responsible for defining, prioritizing, and accepting work, as well as mentoring Product Owners within the Stream. As CPO you will also work closely with other CPO in the WES stream and with other CPOs across various ARTs, Product managers, Operations to ensure alignment with the broader Solution Platform strategy.
As a CPO, you need to influence decision making processes (change management), network and manage business relationships with decision-makers (both internally and at the client)
Responsibilities
You will be co-owning below responsibilities along with the other CPO.
Accountable for product- and development lead-time, quality and cost
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and communicating a transparent multi-year development roadmap and backlog, that contains a balanced mix of initiatives required for the different stakeholders in the organisation.
Leading ideation, conceptualization, prototyping, product development, quality assurance and roll-out to sales- and delivery organizations.
Responsible for creating the product vision and roadmap for respective product/module. How does this product deliver value? How does it solve the relevant business- or customer problem? How can we improve it in the future? What technologies do we need? What competences do we need? In what timeframe can we achieve this?
Developing and managing stakeholder relationships with business unit functions, such as sales, engineering and services, and supporting organizations such as ICT. Manage requirements and dependencies to ensure the needs of the business are met.
Leading other product owners responsible for part of the product scope or components / applications shared with other products or leads multiple agile development teams responsible for the development of the new digital product.
Leading co-creation activities with important customers, and suppliers. Balance individual customer needs with own strategy and ability to scale the product to other customers.
What do we ask from you?
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile environment.
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
Experience in mentoring or leading other Product Owners.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain complex details.
Strong decision-making skills and a proven track record of effective product ownership.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams towards a common vision.
Knowledge of the industry and the competitive landscape is a plus
