CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER OPERATIONS ASSISTANT (OA)

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Child development Center. In this capacity, the position develops, implements and administers clerical administration of the Child Development Center, provides an overall safe and healthy environment to protect children and staff.
Responsible for ensuring efficient use of center space. Prepares and manages time sheets for NAF and APF employees. Serves as USDA CACFP Food Service Monitor for the Child Development and Youth Center Programs. Assists the Assistant Director to ensure the facility is operated in a way to protect the safety and health of the children and staff. Responsible for ensuring staff, volunteers and custodians have required criminal history background checks following most recent CDC Inspection Checklist criteria and complete the required examinations required for employment. Assists in ensuring that NAF resources are properly handled and stored. Works closely with the CDC Director to ensure facility is maintained in a manner to protect the safety and health of the children.
