Circle store- Operation Manager

Role Summary

Circle Assure is our most important differentiator: doorstep pickup, QC, packaging, and delivery. Essentially designed to make C2C resale safe and seamless. As Logistics Head, you will architect and scale this entire engine across small goods (electronics, fashion), large goods (furniture, appliances), and refurbished flows. This is an execution intensive role with massive ownership over consumer trust and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Build & Scale Logistics Infrastructure

● Design and run logistics for both small and large goods, each with distinct workflows, routing, and SLAs.

● Build hybrid networks: in-house teams + 3PL partners + on-demand networks.

● Create SOPs for pickup, packaging, labelling, middle-mile, delivery, RTO, and exception handling.

Circle Assure: Quality + Logistics

● Define QC flows across categories: electronics testing, furniture grading, appliance checks.

● Build repair/refurbishment loops with third-party vendors and internal teams.

● Create a consistent, trusted “Assured” badge with high SLA reliability.

Tech, Process Design & Automation

● Work with Product & Engineering to design tracking, routing optimisation, driver apps, inventory flows, and exception dashboards.

● Implement automation (scan-based tracking, QC checklists, digital proof-of-pickup/delivery).

● Run pilots to eventually replicate and scale operations across cities.

Team Leadership & Vendor Development

● Develop 3PL relationships and negotiate pricing, SLAs, and exclusivity.

● Train teams on Circle’s quality and customer-first ethos.

Performance & Efficiency

● Improve unit economics: cost-per-pickup, cost-per-delivery, repair cost, return losses.

● Reduce cancellations, delays, damage rates, and failed delivery attempts.

● Build dashboards and drive weekly operational reviews.

Role-Specific Strengths

● Bachelor degree or above

● 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics product operation experience

● Familiarity with e-commerce, logistics, and express delivery industries

● Built or scaled a logistics network from scratch

● Strong process design + operational excellence mindset

● Experience designing SOPs, routing, QC flows, and logistics automation.

● Proven ability to manage large ops teams and multiple 3PL partners

● Proficiency with Excel & Google Sheets; familiarity with dashboards, SQL, & BI tools
