<\/span><\/span><\/div>YRGMERF\nis anticipating a project to strengthen the Urban Ecosystem Against Future\nDisease Threats by implementing a framework for urban\-peri\-urban coordination.\nThis project if commissioned will require a team of below positions to support\nthe coordination, implementation and monitoring of several components.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>The\nCity Coordinator will be responsible for implementing the project activities in\nthe designated municipal corporation and peri\-urban areas, coordination with\nstakeholders, monitoring of the activities. Will report to Project Lead based\nat Bengaluru. Will work closely with other team members.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/p>Project\nImplementation Support<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Will\nbe responsible to ensure that the proposed activities are implemented as per\nthe timelines including organising collaborative activities with local health\ndepartments.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures\nthe project activities and plans are discussed with the local health\ndepartments both in urban and peri\-urban areas so that the resources are\noptimised.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/p>Team\nManagement and Quality Assurance<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>- Directly\nsupervises the designated staff, address bottlenecks, and provide support in\nimplementation of the project including on the job skilling of the staff to\nperform their duties<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Works\nclosely with the subject experts to ensure that the activities are thought\nthrough and designed as per the local needs, they are consulted with right\nstakeholders before being rolled out.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures\nthat the team members are having clear focus on the implementation of the\nactivities, able to flag issues in timely manner which may hinder the progress\nas well as share the best practices.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Close\-coordination\nwith MSU, DSO and local disease surveillance teams for both human and animal\nhealth is critical. Must lead these coordination activities with support of\nsubject experts.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Works\nclosely with the other relevant departments and agencies to make the activities\nrelevant and impacting to the preparedness of disease outbreaks in the\ndesignated project areas.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Conducts\nfield visit to observe field operations first\-hand, interact with local\nstakeholders<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures\nthat all project activities comply with YRGMERF\u2019s organisational policies on\nethics, safeguarding, data protection, and financial management<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Innovation\nand Best Practices<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Ensures\nthat framework for innovations and best practices are embedded within the\nproject activities design, monitoring and DQA framework.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Collaboration\nwith local communities, opinion leaders, RWAs in implementing these innovations\nand best practices are critical. Must ensure that they are part of the design\nprocess.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures\nthat government approved tools and techniques are scaled up and widely\npracticed.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/p>- Ensures\nthat the data quality checks are performed by the team regular manner and\nfeedback is incorporated in the implementation.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/p>- Masters in Public\nHealth or Social Studies with minimum 5 years' experience in managing projects\nin Rajasthan under NUHM, Urban Health Project, Disease Surveillance, One Health\nActivities, Urban Poverty Alleviation, National Vector Borne Control Program.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
