Civil Engineer
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Project Manager & Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising civil and structural works on site.
- Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve site and technical issues.
- Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, schedule, and quality standards.
- Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and other project documentation.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, structural, architectural, M&E, and other trade works.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Support material planning, delivery coordination, and site resource tracking.
- Assist in reviewing subcontractor claims, variation works, and progress measurements where required.
- Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and inspections with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with company EHS policies, MOM/WSH requirements, and project safety standards.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
- Experience in data centre, industrial, commercial, or large-scale building projects will bean advantage.
- Good knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural construction works.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.
