CIVIL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Submissions: Prepare and submit technical engineering designs and documentation to local authorities before work commences.
  • Geotechnical Reporting: Monitor and prepare soil investigation bore logs, and generate reports on critical geotechnical matters.
  • Site Supervision: Advise site personnel on structural mechanics, monitor pile load testing, and ensure the latest construction drawings are used on-site.
  • Quality & Compliance: Propose corrective actions for non-conformances related to design and assist in resolving technical complaints.
  • Project Coordination: Attend technical meetings and coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Degree Civil/Structural Engineering recognized by the Singapore PE (Professional Engineers) Board.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in civil engineering or construction is typically preferred.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with deep foundation works (bored piling), soil mechanics, and geotechnical engineering principles.
  • Malaysian may apply.
