Civil & Structural Engineer
- Participates as a member of the civil engineering team on all company projects.
- May perform the function of Lead Civil Engineer on smaller projects, under the guidance of Senior or Principal Civil Engineer.
- Performs engineering design calculations and prepares design sketches as required on assigned projects.
- Assists the civil designers in the preparation of civil and structural drawings.
- Reviews, and comments on civil and structural drawings under the guidance his/her supervising engineer.
- Reviews and comments on supplier documents and other discipline drawings under the guidance his/her supervising engineer.
- Attends progress meetings and assists in the preparation of project progress reports on behalf of his/her supervising engineer.
- Advises his/her supervising engineer of any slippages and their causes and proposed corrective action.
- Advises his/her supervising engineer of any technical problems and unresolved differences with other groups.
- Assists in the preparation of contract requisitions and schedules of quantity for civil and structural work on assigned projects.
- Liaises with construction personnel and addresses site queries during construction under the guidance his/her supervising engineer.
Qualifications:
- BSc (Civil Engineering) / BEng (Civil)
- 3+ years relevant post graduate experience

- Technical Expertise - carries out technical design work to a high standard. Has a sound working knowledge of civil/structural engineering applications and techniques relevant to the project environment.
