Civil Works Supervisor
- Oversees effective maintenance and repair of all reported defects during the day, manufactures, installs, maintains, and repairs the carpentry-related issues.
- Works to a preventative planned maintenance program, oversees the cleanliness of the carpenter's workshop and storage room, and ensures all tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Ensures that there is an adequate stock of all equipment and supplies, repairs and maintains all matters related to carpentry, trains and develops colleagues.
- Degree in Engineering or a graduate of a recognized Vocational or Trade School; equivalent technical certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in carpentry operations within a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of painting, masonry and Microsoft Office applications.
