Claims Processing Associate (APOS)

Job Description
• Review and process claims submitted

• Verify eligibility criteria (e.g., employee status, leave entitlement, caps, and claim limits) based on prevailing regulations

• Validate supporting documents such as payslips, employment records, birth certificates, leave records

• Ensure claims are processed within stipulated turnaround time and service-level agreements (SLAs)

• Calculate reimbursement amounts accurately according to scheme rules and statutory caps

• Identify discrepancies, incomplete submissions, or non-compliance issues and follow up with employers/applicants

• Liaise with government agencies, employers, and internal stakeholders to resolve claim-related queries

• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all processed claims

• Monitor and detect potential fraud, misrepresentation, or duplicate claims, and escalate when necessary

• Provide clear communication and guidance to applicants on claim outcomes and requirements


Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, HR, customer service or related fields

• 2 years of experience in claims processing, payroll, HR operations, customer service or government scheme administration preferred

• Proficient in MS Office

• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret policies and guidelines

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Accuracy and strong numerical skills (for claims calculation)

• Policy interpretation and compliance awareness

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Time management with ability to handle high-volume processing

• Customer service mindset (handling employers and employees)

• Integrity and confidentiality with sensitive personal data


Work Location - Ang Mo Kio
Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm
2-year contract
