Claims Treatment Specialist (Psychology)

As an NI Treatment Leader (Psychology) you will build and lead a high performing team of psychologists, driving the delivery of specialist in house treatment services across the NI portfolio. You will play a key role in ensuring workers receive accurate diagnoses and evidence based psychological treatment to support recovery and return to work outcomes.
This role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight and stakeholder engagement to deliver sustainable, customer focused outcomes while driving continuous improvement across the function. Experience in start-up teams or projects, will be highly regarded.
This will be a full time, 18 month secondment/contract position based in our Sydney office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week) considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach and develop a team of psychologists to deliver high quality treatment services
Help develop and drive the strategic direction, performance and sustainability of the Treatment Team
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure coordinated, tailored and customer centric claims and treatment outcomes
Monitor provider performance, treatment effectiveness and spend to ensure evidence based and outcome driven decisions
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation and service expansion across the psychology function.
ABOUT YOU
Must have demonstrated leadership experience in a fast paced operational environment, ideally within the personal injury or workers compensation space
Background in psychology, counselling, social work or mental health, with strong understanding of psychological treatment frameworks
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends and drive performance outcomes
Sound knowledge of workers compensation legislation, SIRA guidelines and injury management practices
